Research Synergy Institute successfully organized Webinar #AskExpert15: Digital Ethnography 2.0: A Contemporary Research Method for Publishing in SCOPUS/WOS-Indexed Journals on Friday, February 28, 2025. The event attracted 130+ participants from various backgrounds.
The session commenced with opening remarks and an introduction to the global research ecosystem by Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih, S.E., M.M., Founder & CEO of Research Synergy Foundation. The event was concluded with closing remarks from Santi Rahmawati, S.T., M.S.M., Founder & COO of Research Synergy Foundation.
Our esteemed speaker, Endah Triastuti, Ph.D., from Universitas Indonesia, delivered an insightful presentation on digital ethnography, emphasizing its conceptual framework, evolving scope, and distinctions between conventional and contemporary ethnographic approaches. She elaborated on key principles, data collection methods, and publication opportunities in this field. Additionally, the webinar featured a hands-on session, providing participants with a practical understanding of the essential steps in conducting digital ethnography.
This session was open to researchers across various fields, including social sciences, public health, political science, IT, gender studies, cultural studies, environmental studies, and more. It focused on helping participants understand how digital technologies and media are shaping behaviors, cultures, and experiences in the digital age, offering valuable insights into how these innovations influence and transform society.
