We are pleased to share the successful completion of the first session of the “Intensive Class: Writing A Systematic Literature Review & Publishing in International Journals” which took place on January 9, 2025. Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih, S.E., M.M. kicked off the session with an inspiring introduction, setting an engaging and motivating tone for all attendees. The session’s primary focus was on introducing Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs), highlighting their essential components and significance.
Setyowati Triastuti Utami, Ph.D., from Gadjah Mada University, then led a segment on crafting research questions and objectives, stressing their importance in guiding the research process. Participants took part in hands-on activities to refine their research aims and ensure alignment with their overall study goals.
The second session, which took place on January 16, 2025, concentrated on developing efficient search strategies for SLRs. Attendees were taught how to create effective search strings using keywords and Boolean operators, equipping them with the essential skills to navigate the vast academic literature landscape.
On January 23, 2025, the third session focused on the Study Selection Process. Key topics included applying stringent criteria for study screening and data extraction, as well as designing effective forms for structured data analysis.
The final session, held on January 30, 2025, covered the critical stages of the systematic review process. By the end of the program, participants are expected to produce high-quality papers that demonstrate a deep understanding of the SLR process, showcasing their research capabilities and potential for academic publication. This experience highlights the importance of producing robust research that contributes significantly to the academic field.
