Universitas Semarang (USM) in collaboration with Research Synergy Foundation has conducted the second session of the Scientific and Academic Writing Workshop on 4th of May 2019, specifically aimed to facilitate the preparation of USM participant to join 3 series of upcoming international conference: Business and Economic Series Conference (BES), Social Science Series Conference (SOSCIS) and Science Series Conference (SCIS).These conferences will be held at Gumaya Hotel, Semarang on 10th of July 2019.
This workshop was officiated by Dr.Ismi Rajiani as the Chief of Editorial Hub of Research Synergy Foundation. In the first session, Dr. Ismi explained on strategies to publish in Scopus journals and proceedings. Participants brought their research papers in the workshop to be examined and discussed with the workshop facilitators. The workshop was attended by lecturers from different faculties in USM.
The second session is scheduled as “Paper Treatment” organized by Publication Department of RSF. In this session, Publication Department Team shared step by step that are compulsory for authors to be done before they propose their papers to be published at Scopus indexed proceedings. The several stages that must be fulfilled by Authors before publishing their papers are related to plagiarism check, language review, paper formatting, proofreading and content review. All participants took part in this workshop enthusiastically, and considered about both of the sessions was very informative for the development of their research writing and academic journey.
