We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our “Webinar I Scientific and Academic Writing: LSPU E-Coaching Clinic Series 2024,” held on 8/7/24. The event opened with a warm welcome from Dr. Karen Manaig of LSPU Philippines, who set an inspiring tone for the day. Following her remarks, the session progressed to an introduction of the RSF Global Research Ecosystem, providing valuable insights into global research dynamics.
Dr. Rasmitadila from Universitas Djuanda delivered two pivotal presentations that were particularly well-received. The first, “The Journey to Publication: Motivational Strategies for Writing and Publishing Scientific Papers,” provided valuable insights and encouragement for researchers aiming to publish their work. Her second presentation, “Step-by-Step Guide: Mastering the Fundamentals of Research Paper Writing,” offered a detailed roadmap for crafting high-quality research papers, making it an indispensable resource for aspiring authors.
The webinar also included practical guidance on identifying predatory and non-predatory journals, a critical skill for ensuring the integrity of one’s research. Additionally, participants were educated on avoiding plagiarism and the nuances of paraphrasing articles, further emphasizing the importance of ethical writing practices.
The event concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Albert Yazon of LSPU Philippines, bringing the enlightening and informative webinar to a close.
