Bandung (25/8), After two years of running online programs, Research Synergy Foundation (RSF) held a hybrid (offline and online) program named International Service Program (ISP) 2022 and a Seminar on the topic: “Moving Forward the Quality of Research into World-Class Publication”. There were around 30 participants from some universities across Indonesia.

There are two sessions on this event—the first is an offline session. The first one was opened by Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih, The Founder and Chairperson of Research Synergy Foundation. She also shared about RSF Global Research Ecosystem Introduction, including Scholarvein, Research Synergy Institute (RSI), RSF Press, Review Tracker, and RSF itself. The next speaker is Ani Wahyu Rachmawati, S.Psi., M.S.M., The Founder & Director of Publication Research Synergy Foundation. She shared about Increasing Author Capacity to Meet Editorial requirements in Scopus Q1/ Q2 Indexed Journals. And last but not least, the last speaker is Santi Rahmawati, S.T., M.S.M., The Founder & Director of Global Network Operation Research Synergy Foundation. In her capacity, Mrs. Santi shared about Conducting a World-Class Research Expose/Conference and taking Publication Opportunities.

After the break, the event became a hybrid. Where there were some people in the room and also some people on Zoom Meeting, this happened because the Speaker for the hybrid session was in the UK. She was Dr. Liz Turner, Open Research Manager Taylor & Francis UK. She shared about Accelerating Open Research through Partnership. This event was also aimed in order to officially launching Collaboration 2023: Moving Forward the Quality of Research into World-Class Publication

Bandung (31/6), Research Synergy Insitute (RSI) held the fourth 2022 Coaching Clinic Series Program. After successfully having a similar program with Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, RSI currently is collaborating with Laguna State Polytechnic University. There are 57 Authors (including Co-Authors) and 31 articles in total participating in the program.

The Webinar was opened by Dr Karen Manaig. The content of this webinar consists of four materials. They are (1) Why being Global Scholar is Important? How should we do to be Globally Accepted?, (2) How to write a Good Research?, (3) Practical Guidance of Publication: Identification predatory and Non-predatory Journal, and (4) Practical Guidance of Publication: Avoiding Plagiarism & Paraphrasing Articles. After this coaching ended, the next coaching will be held on August 2022 for Universtas Bina Darma and Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor.

After successfully having a similar program with UNISBA Batch 1 and Batch 2, RSI is currently collaborating with Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta. There were 65 participants of Author & Co-Author and 31 total articles participating in the program.

They were 1) Things about F1000Research E-Coaching Program; 2) Why being a Global Scholar is important? What should we do to be globally accepted?; 3) Things about RSF Gateway F1000research and the publication process; and 4) Date Guideline, Ethical Policies, & Finding Article Reviewer in F1000Research.

Bandung (2/3), Research Synergy Insitute (RSI) held the Second 2022 Coaching Clinic Series Program. After successfully having a similar program with UNISBA, RSI currently is collaborating with UNISBA Batch 2.0. There were 46 Authors and Co-Authors with 19 total articles participating in the program.

Bandung (30/9), the 7th #askexpert series by Research Synergy Foundation and Research Synergy Institute, has been held on title: Developing a productive research culture: What can we adopt? 

This webinar was held on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Participants who registered for this webinar reached three hundred and thirty-one registrants. Soeharto moderates the webinar; he is a PhD student at the University of Szeged (Hungary).

There are two speakers at the webinar. The first speaker was Oktoviano Gandhi, a PhD from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Engineering from the University of Oxford. In addition, he is also the director of Alva Energi Indonesia. While the second speaker, Vicka Kharisma, is a researcher from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He was awarded the bio-char energy award in Nepal by The Coca-cola Foundation.

 

Unlike usual, this time, the ask expert webinar was delivered in a semi-formal style where the moderator would ask, and the speaker would answer the questions posed. Questions ranged from experiences at each speaker’s university/institution to experiences of being a mother and a researcher at the same time.

Within forty-five minutes, all questions were answered with their perspective. Oktoviano uses a European perspective, and Vicka answers using an Asian perspective. It turns out that this geographical difference affects the view of research.

Finally, the webinar closed with the presentation of certificates for moderators and speakers given directly by Mrs Ani Wahyu as Founder of Research Synergy & Director of Research Synergy Institute.

On the Last saturday (31/7), RSF just held a webinar named E-Coaching Coaching Clinic 2021. This time, RSF is working with the Faculty of Medicine, Unisba, Indonesia. The webinar session began with an Opening speech from the Dean of The Faculty, Mr. Prof. Dr. Nanan Sekarwana, dr., SpA(K)., MARS.

He invited all of the lecturer at the faculty to submit their research and get published on International journal. This webinar was an opening for the coaching. This coaching itself will take place from 31 July to 31 august 2021.
In this session, the participants would know more about coaching systematic, RSF Research Global Ecosystem, F1000Research, and how to published on F1000Research, etc.

That’s why RSF as one of F1000Research Gateway advisor would facilitate the participants from the Faculty of Medicine Unisba (Indonesia). We know that it’s not easy to get published on, but it’s not impossible.

Today (19/7/2021), RSF held an e-coaching webinar for the second time. The webinar session began with the closing statement by Dr. Albert Yazon as the representative of Laguna State University Philipines (LSPU). This coaching had passed over two weeks.

In this session, the participants would know more about the academic and scientific writing techniques such as dos and don’t things to get published in F1000Research, etc. More over, the participants were invited to review their paper step by step.

Today (5/7/2021), RSF has just held an e-coaching webinar, an international-scale coaching program where this time, we are collaborating with Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) from Philippines. This coaching will be held over the next month using an online platform. The E-Coaching program has objectives to enhance authors capacity in publication and minimize gaps of editor requirement and author capacity to achieve publication in reputable journals.

The program consists of some stages: E-Coaching webinar I, review process and Journal recommendation, E Coaching Webinar II, mentoring/ assisting for improvement and article submission to the journal. The output of E-Coaching Program is article submission to a reputable journal (Scopus/DOAJ/Copernicus Indexed journal).

The Webinar Session lead by Dr Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih, who facilitates two sessions: Why being Global Scholar is important ? What should we do to be globally accepted ? And how to write a good scientific article. Then Ms Ani Wahyu Rachmawati as another facilitator, conduct the session of How to Identify predatory and Non-Predatory Journal. The webinar closed by the last session from Ms Santi Rahmawati, who facilitate the discussion about the publication process of F1000research (Scopus Q1).

The webinar session ended with the closing statement by Dr Albert Yazon as the representative of Laguna State University Philipines (LSPU). He said that this is the golden moment and opportunity for all LSPU participants to increase the skill and capacity of research and publication.
